Dimensional Calibration Service
Each unit is cleaned, calibrated, adjusted where applicable, Calibration sticker adhered and returned to service.

• Caliper, Hand          ASTM D3767
  Property - Measurement of Dimensions, Practice describes procedures for determining length, width, thickness, diameter and circumference measurements.
  Apparatus: digital, dial, vernier; .001 to .0005 resolution
  Calibrated features:  4" to12" max. Outside Jaw, Inside Jaw Parallelism to light; Outside Jaw, Step Jaw , Depth gage to Blocks; Inside Jaw to Ring Gages; 
  
  
• Micrometer, Hand          ASME B89.1.13, ASTM Method D3767 & ASTM D5947
  Calibration procedures for instruments used to determining length, width, thickness, and diameter measurements.
  Apparatus: digital, dial, vernier; .001 to .00005 resolution, flat, domed, wedge foot attachments.
  Calibrated features:  1" to 8" max., Accuracy using Class 2 micrometer check set, blocks are set to check the quarter turn of the spindle, flatness checked by ball standard to determine if there is wear accuring on either the anvil or foot or both.
  
  
• Micrometer, Ped w/fpsi          ASTM D3767
  Property - Measurement of Dimensions, Practice describes procedures for determining length, width, thickness, diameter and circumference, it provides guidelines on foot pressure to be applied to sample. 
  Apparatus: dial or digital,  (A)  Flat foot micrometer, used on Flat sheets and test specimens.  (A1) Domed foot micrometer, used on irregular specimens and compression set specimens. 
  Calibrated features:  Pedestal Mount; digital or dial; 0.001 to 0.00005" resolution, 1" to 2" range max.; Accuracy using Class 2 Gage Blocks, flatness checked by ball standard; f/psi by dynamometer; external weight if present.
  
  
• Snap Gages w/fpsi        ASTM D3767 & ASTM D5947
  Apparatus: dial or digital,  (A)  Flat foot micrometer, used on Flat sheets and test specimens.  (A1) Domed foot micrometer, used on irregular specimens and compression set specimens.
  Calibrated features:  Pedestal Mount; digital or dial; 0.001 to 0.00005" resolution, 1" to 2" range max.; Accuracy using Class 2 Gage Blocks, flatness checked by ball standard; f/psi by dynamometer; external weight if present.
  
  
• Rotor Height Gage        ASTM D3767, D2240
  Apparatus: unit used to set the rotor height on a Monsanto Rheometer R100.
  Calibrated features:  Pedestal Mount; digital or dial; 0.001 to 0.00005" resolution, 1" range max.; Accuracy using Class 2 Gage Blocks, Setting Base height, Step Diameter and height.
  
  
• Ruler & Scale        ASTM D3767
  Calibrated features:  Hand, 12" to 24" max.
  
  
• Optical Comparators        ASTM D3767
  Calibrated features:  Table Level, Square; "Y" Axis  ( Left & Right ); "X" Axis ( Up & Down ) ; Magnification; Radius Verification; Angle verification.
  
  
• Torque Wrench        ASME B107.14M-94 & ASME B107.300-10.
  Calibrated features: Clockwise and counter-clockwise by Torque Sensor,  [ 600 lbs/in; max ] 
  
  
• Tachometer - RPM        ASTM F2046
  Calibrated features:  Tachometer direct contact or photo-contact comparison by Tachometer, Speed  [ ft/min; rpm ] measured by Tachometer.
