Apparatus: Instrument consisting of motor-driven oscillating disk within a cylindrical die cavity formed maintained at a specified temperture and and die closure force.

Calibrated features: Service rotor drive shaft and bearings ( bearing replacement ); Rotor Diamete Ram operating air pressure; Platens & Dies Temperature Uniformity ( top and bottom); Die closure; T torque standard.

Vulcanized Rheological Properties by Rotorless Shear Rheometer (MDR).
Measurement of the flow properties (elastic and viscous torque) of raw rubber and unvulcanized rubber compounds.
Produced by oscillating angular strain of set amplitude and frequency in a sealed cavity.

Apparatus: Rotorless cure meters. Two types "Unsealed" or "Sealed". Oscillation of small amplitude applied to one die maintained at a specified temperture and and die closure force.

Mooney viscosity is defined as the shearing torque resisting rotation of a cylindrical metal disk (rotor) embedded in rubber within a cylindrical cavity.

Apparatus: Instrument consisting of motor-driven rotating disk within a cylindrical die cavity formed by two dies maintained at a specified temperture and and die closure force.

Calibrated features: Service rotor drive shaft and bearings ( bearing replacement ); Rotor Diameter (small or large); Rotor Height; Ram operating air pressure; Platens & Dies Temperature Uniformity ( top and bottom); Die closure; Torque Arm by calibrated hang weight.

Compression Tester            ASTM D1056, D3767 & E4.
Specification for Flexible Cellular Materials, Sponge or Expanded Rubber. Compression-Deflection Test

Apparatus: 17.1 Instrument measuring the force necessary to produce a 25% deflection on a test specimen. 18.1 Any compression machine that meets the following requirements will be satisfactory. The machine shall be capable of compressing he specimen at a rate of 12.5 to 50 mm/min ( 0.5 to 2in/min) gently without impact. Machine may be motor or hand driven. Equipped with a gage to measure the deflection caused by the increased load.

Calibrated features: Dial Indicator; Force Indicator w/ Load Cell LCCA-100 lb.
